INTERESTING ARTICLE ABOUT LEBANON IN POLAND MONTHLY

In coordination between the Embassy of Lebanon in Warsaw and the Ministry of Tourism in Lebanon, the Senior writer in the English speaking Magazine "Poland Monthly" Mr. Matthew Day made a one week visit to Lebanon in the period 14-21 September 2005.

The visit was sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism who offered Mr. and Mrs. Day a one week stay in the luxury Hotel Monroe in Beirut and provided them with a car and a tourist guide. The Polish Airline company LOT provided a free round trip air ticket for Mr. Day. The journalist had the opportunity to see many areas in Lebanon and he wrote an article about this visit in the famous "Poland Monthly".

Upon the return of Mr. Day from Lebanon, the Ambassador of Lebanon to Poland Mr. Massoud Maalouf offered a lunch in honor of the journalist in the beautiful residence of the Embassy. Members of the Lebanese community in Warsaw were invited. Mr. Day gave the guests an overview of his experience and briefly described the beauty of all the places he visited in Lebanon.
